Description

PERSPECTIVE is a highly-transparent and air-permeable fabric,  with high screening attenuation. PERSPECTIVE is washable, easy to process and has a very high quality grade. It can not be ironed.

Due to the surface conductivity, the particular fabric can be grounded to shield low frequency (LF) electric fields.

Special features:

This fabric is hard to sew accurately, because it‘s stretchy and pulls out of place easily when you try to sew on it. Please note that customized curtains are difficult to sew dimensionally stable!

The shielding attenuation is regularly tested in our own laboratory or by Professor Dipl.Ing. Pauli at the University of the German Federal Armed Forces in Munich due to the standards ASTM D4935-10 and/or IEEE-STD-299-2006. perspective shielding fabric graph

The fabric contains silver, that can discolorate in some cases in a very high degree. For more information please refer to Discoloration of silver.

Discoloration of Silver

We make it clear to our customers that fabrics containing silver threads will discolor over time, something that other suppliers keep quiet about! This typical characteristic of silver can sometimes even be noticed on fabrics that come straight from the factory. The reasons for this are direct sunlight, heat from the radiator, splashes from the cleaning water etc. Sometimes the fabrics are yet discolored, when we get it from the manufacturer.

Important: Stained places have no negative effects on the screening attenuation at all and they are no quality defect! If you cannot accept any discolorations you should have a look at the product table overview. There you will find various fabrics which are not subject to discolorations. The following are (admittedly extreme) examples of such discolorations and how they look like at worst:
